Welcome
About Me
Welcome to my blog, my name is Wayne and I intend to use this website as a personal writing outlet. I am a full-time student and have a part-time job, however through my college experience so far I have learned that I love to write. I have been taking many writing-intensive classes, although I want another place to write where I have free reign over the topic, length, and frequency of my projects. I am not sure where this will take me, although I want to be able to write as a practice tool and for creative enjoyment, with this in mind, I would like to write thoughts and experiences that I typically keep bottled up within myself. Aside from what I plan to write here, I also enjoy playing tennis, hiking, watching hockey (GO HABS!), and playing video games with friends.
Education
I graduated high school in the spring of 2017 in Southern New Hampshire. Directly after that (fall of 2017) I went to Plymouth State University in Northern New Hampshire, however, I quickly found I had no idea what I wanted to do, and didn't feel spending all this money would benefit me at the time. The one thing I did know was that I wanted to continue school and find what I liked, so I transferred to Manchester Community College in Southern New Hampshire, where I took classes part-time to save money and discover what I enjoyed and still chip away at getting a degree. Once I had really discovered that I liked to write, I wanted to push myself to full-time school, so I took a big leap and moved across the country to Northwestern Washington and transferred to Whatcom Community College. Since then I have continued to save a lot of money by attending a community college and taking many writing classes. I am now living in New Hampshire and have just finished my associate's degree at Whatcom Community College, I have been accepted to Central Washington University for my bachelor's degree where I will continue to study writing starting in the fall of 2022.
